The Honors College and Philosophy Department invite students and faculty to “Paths Untrammeled: How to make a career doing interdisciplinary research." This roundtable discussion on careers in interdisciplinary research is open to all students and faculty and will take place in the Allen House's Spinola Gallery on Wednesday, January 29, from 2-4 p.m. 

Topics include:

  • What does it mean to do interdisciplinary research: how do you choose methods, find colleagues, and conduct research
  • How do you find jobs as an interdisciplinary scholar?
  • How do you use interdisciplinary skills to make an impact?

Nick Evans – Associate Professor, Philosophy, UMass Lowell
Alexander Ghionis - Research Fellow in Chemical and Biological Security at the Science Policy Research Unit
Os Keyes – Postdoctoral Research Associate, Philosophy, UMass Lowell
Joshua Moon - Research Fellow in Health & Research Policy at the Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex
Neil Shortland – Associate Professor, Criminal Justice, UMass Lowell
