Please don’t forget to request Lecture Capture if you want to record and share your courses this semester.
UML can do so in most every classroom, but it cannot be started without the request on your part.
Please go to the Lecture Capture app.
- see what courses SiS has you scheduled to teach,
- check off which course(s) you want to have us record and,
- click Submit.
We will take it from there and will send out a confirmation for the recordings scheduled. (This happens a few times just prior to classes starting).
Have a special request for a course? Use the "Add a Note" on the request form to tell us things like (capture the whiteboard, out for a conference on XXXX, I tend to run over by about 10 minutes, etc.) and we can make adjustments.
The recordings are typically available within 2 hours after recording and will be automatically transcribed for close captioning.
The recommended method to share your recordings with your students is via Blackboard. Here are some brief video instructions on how to do this and some other common Echo Training Videos.
Also, here is the link to login directly into Echo360 (Now called EchoVideo).
Questions? Email us at help@uml.edu or call 978-934-4357.
Please provide 24 hours notice for all recording requests during the semester.
