After a dozen years as dean elevating UMass Lowell’s College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (FAHSS), Luis M. Falcón has decided to return to the classroom. His leadership of the university’s largest college saw the establishment of new academic programs including Composition for New Media, Digital Media, Graphic Design, the Ph.D. in Psychology and a plethora of new interdisciplinary graduate programs. He also championed the growth of diverse faculty and students.
Please join us in celebrating Dean Luis Falcon and his legacy on Monday, Aug. 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Coburn Hall 255 by responding online. Food and beverage will be served.
The Dean Luis M. Falcón Endowment for Study Abroad Programs has been established in honor of Dean Falcon to help grow FAHSS study abroad opportunities. To learn more about and see how you can help, please contact Carolyn Brooks, director of development, at 978-934-4482 or email Carolyn_Brooks@uml.edu. You can also donate online to this endowment.
We look forward to celebrating Dean Falcon’s leadership and all that he’s accomplished at the university together.
