Join us as UMass Lowell Chancellor Julie Chen leads the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the newly expanded Rist Institute for Sustainability & Energy's Urban Agriculture Greenhouse & Farm on East Campus (69 Pawtucket St., Lowell MA) during Mill City Grow’s annual plant sale event on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2  p.m.

After the ceremony, you can purchase locally grown fruit, veggies, and herb plants for your home, school, or community garden. This year will also include a Farmers Market featuring fresh produce from the Mill City Grows Mobile Market and artisanal products from our guest vendors: Craic Sauce, F-Word Farm, Fat Moon Mushrooms, Herban Fresh Soups, The Merrimack Company and Taste the Acre. Don't forget to swing by Mill City Grows’ information table for a chance to WIN exciting prizes!

All seedlings are grown and cultivated by Mill City Grows here in Lowell at the Rist Urban Agriculture Greenhouse & Farm, our Plant Sale event location. Your purchase supports Mill City Grows’ healthy food access and education programs for Lowell residents. We accept cash, credit, and debit for all purchases. We also accept SNAP/HIP for our fruit and vegetable seedlings.
