THIS EVENT WAS POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Denise Dunlap and Lani Faith Gacula from the Manning School of Business invite you to attend a new symposium on April 4 that supports NIH grant, Center for Accelerating Practices to End Suicide (CAPES), research on the impacts of new technologies on mental health and wellbeing.

All students, faculty, staff and local businesses are invited to attend an upcoming Interdisciplinary Research Symposium on April 4 to learn about the latest research on mental health. The theme of this year’s symposium is: “Friend or Foe: Transforming Social Media and AI for a Healthy Future.”

The goal of the symposium is to expand our understanding about the evolving relationship between technology and mental health by discussing innovative solutions, exploring ethical considerations, and promoting mental health advocacy. Research participants will present posters from UMass Lowell, UMass Chan Medical School, Worcester Polytech Institute, business innovators and more.

The event will be in the lobby of University Crossing from 2 to 4 p.m. Please stop any time during the event. We hope you will join us for impactful conversations, refreshments, and raffles such as wellness gift baskets donated from our local community.
