Over the last 20 years, Boston’s Seaport District has transformed from an area of abandoned docks and parking lots to a hub of cultural institutions, high-rise condos and corporate offices. And yet little attention was given to making this ocean front site resilient to rising sea levels and climate change. Already high tides are sweeping over its sidewalks, streets and into storefronts. The lack of planning and the escalating costs have set off a series of protests.

The film “Inundation District” charts the course of this vast project and the conflicts surrounding it. The screening will be followed with a Q&A with its writer and producer, David Abel.
