Do you use sports to teach course material or have courses focused on sport?
Do you conduct research on sport, biology, exercise, footwear, apparel, materials or sensors?
Do you write about sport or conduct surveys about sport?
Do you engage with athletes, sports companies, leagues or media?
May you want to do any of these things in the future?
The Sports Collaborative for Open Research and Education (SCORE) is a campus cluster initiative at the UMass Lowell focused on bringing together faculty, staff, students, companies and organizations with the mission of exploring sports from academic and experiential perspectives in the university community and beyond. SCORE connects disciplines in business, education, engineering, fine arts, health sciences, humanities, sciences, and social sciences, as well as many extracurricular elements of student life. Join us to learn more about SCORE, including the new academic minors in Sports Studies and Sports Engineering.
Light snack will be served.
