Environmental Health & Safety specialists, researchers and others rely on the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) associated with the products they are using to understand the potential hazards. SDS can provide a lot of information - but not always all the information you need to truly assess the relative hazard of a product or the alternatives you may be considering.

Learn the basics of assessing chemical hazards and discover how to go beyond reliance on the Safety Data Sheet to inform your chemical and product choices.

This workshop has an interactive component that requires the use of a laptop.
