The University Library is pleased to announce our new partnership with the Manning School of Business to manage the collection of specialized business databases. This includes Cabells and Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS), which can be found on the library’s database webpage.
If you teach with WRDS, we’re happy to help get your students access. Please let your students know they first need to register for their own account. Our LibGuide has an introduction to help get everyone started. Our Research & Learning team can provide additional help with account set-up through Ask A Librarian. We hope, as the content experts, you’ll help them learn what kind of specialized data is available and its value. We can provide support in getting accounts set up, and navigating to the list of available data packages.
As the campus works to reduce expenses and streamline operations, this partnership leverages the library’s experience working with library database vendors to negotiate better prices, resolve technical problems, and maintain continuing access to platforms and content in a dynamically evolving information landscape.
