Speaker: Natalia Palacios

Natalia Palacios is Associate Professor in Public Health at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her research group focuses on the role of the microbiome in neurodegenerative disease, with an emphasis on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. She is particularly interested in how the microbiome impacts brain health in Latinos. Dr. Palacios is currently PI of an R01 from the NINDS focused on the role of gut microbiome in Parkinson’s disease (PD).
