Please join us to learn more about the Fulbright Specialist Program from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, either virtually or in person at University Crossing Room 158 (Building B). The program pairs highly qualified U.S. academics and professionals with host institutions abroad to share their expertise, hone their skills, gain international experience, and learn about other cultures while building capacity at their overseas host institutions.

As a part of the larger Fulbright Program, the Specialist Program provides the opportunity to engage in short-term projects (two to six weeks) at host institutions in more than 150 eligible countries. The program is open to eligible faculty members or senior administrators who are U.S. citizens.

At the session, you will hear from Ingrid Hess, Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Design, who completed the program in 2018 (Mary Immaculate College) and 2021 (University College Cork) in Ireland.

Amirah Nelson, Senior Outreach Officer for the Fulbright Specialist Program at World Learning, will provide insight on the program’s requirements, benefits, application process, examples of past Fulbright Specialist projects, and answer any questions you may have.

For questions, please contact Meylia_Kurnianto@uml.edu. Thank you.
