Screening: "Who Killed Vincent Chin?''

In 1982, Chinese American engineer Vincent Chin was murdered by two white autoworkers who expressed frustration at the decline of U.S. manufacturing and rise of the Asian auto industry. This documentary explores the events of that night and the resulting movement for justice for Asian Americans. Pizza provided.

Screening and Panel with Filmmaker Curtis Chin: "Vincent Who?''

Filmmaker Curtis Chin will screen his short documentary "Vincent Who?" about the ongoing impacts of the Vincent Chin case. History Professor Bob Forrant and Sociology Professor Maheen Haider will join him for a discussion about race, labor, and anti-Asian sentiment in the present day.
