Title:
Highlights and Updates from the NASA Heliophysics Division

Abstract:
This talk will highlight new activities and opportunities from NASA's Heliophysics Division (HPD) and the Science Mission Directorate (SMD). Topics will include open science and the new data policy, new ROSES opportunities, citizen science, and opportunities for students and post-docs. Though the focus is on Heliophysics, some of these topics are relevant for the other divisions within SMD as well.

Bio:
Susanna Finn, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist at the Lowell Center for Space Science and Technology. She is currently on detail to NASA Headquarters as an IPA Program Scientist in the Science Mission Directorate Heliophysics Division. Finn is leading a new Citizen Science program in Heliophysics, and is the Program Scientist for the NASA ICON mission. Her research background includes space-based instrumentation for EUV ionospheric science and radio observations of high-mass star-forming regions. She received her bachelor's degree from Brown University and Ph.D. from Boston University.
