As most of you are aware, in June UMass Lowell experienced a cyber security incident that required the Information Technology Department to recommend disconnecting our campus network from the internet to isolate the university electronically from the outside world.

As most of our systems have been restored, we would like to take a moment to allow everyone on opportunity to share how you, your departments, our students, alumni and vendors were impacted by this event. By collecting this information, along with a facilitated dialogue with departments participating in the Emergency Operations Center for this incident, we will be able to create an after-action report and improvement plan to help us learn and improve.
