Biosketch
Peter W. Adler, a U.S. and U.K. citizen, teaches International Law, Business Law, and International Business, and he leads the Study Abroad Program to Copenhagen. He loves how diverse students' backgrounds are at UMass Lowell.
Adler, JD, is a graduate of Dartmouth College, (B.A.), Cambridge University (M.A.), and University of Virginia (J.D.). He has published ten academic articles and a book.
He was Vice President in the European Division of an international bank; he founded, ran, and sold one of the first ecommerce companies to a Fortune 500 company; and he helped run the acquirer's ecommerce department. He also was a partner in a law firm practicing corporate law and business litigation.
He enjoys international travel, sports (tennis, bicycling, sailing and kayaking), photography, and chess.
