Biosketch
Abel Gyan, D.H.Sc., MBA, M.S., Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Professional in Health Informatics (CPHI), is an associate teaching professor of Health Information Management. He is also the program coordinator of the M.S. in Health Information Management Program. He has over 15 years of combined teaching and administrative experience in various roles, including program director, department chair and accreditation peer reviewer. Abel is very passionate about exploring emerging technologies in healthcare, reviewing them and empowering students to remain current and credentialed.
