This course examines child maltreatment and its intersections with the criminal justice system, with an emphasis on pathways from harm to healing. Students explore the nature and impact of abuse and neglect alongside trauma-informed, and restorative, and prevention-focused responses that support child victims across systems.

Junior or Senior standing.
