We collaborate with corporations, industries and organizations on applied research projects. Together, we aim to apply science to solve real-world problems. Building on a long-standing tradition of working with industry, UMass Lowell has developed two premier models for true research collaborations.
These exciting and effective co-location alliances have proven to provide our partners with advantages in both technological advancement and workforce development. The talented students who work side-by-side with our research partners become valuable employees of the future, with real-world skills tailored to the needs of the companies we work with.
