Shanna Rose Thompson
Shanna is the CPE’s Center Manager. She also serves as the Project Manager for the Science Express grants and adjuncts for the College of Education, Honors, and Office of Sustainability Departments. She has been teaching and working on numerous research projects at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since 2008. She previously served as a high school mathematics teacher in alternative schools in San Francisco and New Orleans.
Bangsil is a doctoral student in the College of Education's Research and Evaluation in Education program. She holds a Master of Education.
Jared is a doctoral student in the Criminology and Criminal Justice program. He holds a Master of Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Master of National Security Studies from the California State University at San Bernardino. Jared previously worked as a Research Analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, where he conducted evaluation work for federal programs.
Kim is a doctoral student in the Educational Leadership program. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, as well as a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska Kearney. Kim is also an assistant professor of biology at Middlesex Community College.
Kathleen Ralls is a doctoral student in the College of Education's Leadership in Education program. She has a Masters in Teaching from American University. Previously she served as a public school teacher.
Martin holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and did doctoral work at Boston University where he earned membership in the Pi Lambda Theta and Phi Delta Kappa Honor Societies. He is currently completing his doctorate in Leadership in Schooling at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has served as a research fellow at the Center on Families, Communities, Schools and Children’s Learning and for the Center for the Advancement of Ethics and Character.
Sarah Elizabeth McDermott
Sarah Elizabeth is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education.
Sarnise Compere is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
