Affiliated faculty of the UMass Lowell Laboratory for Neuroscience each direct their own research programs. Many are from other institutions. As a result of our respect diverse expertise and interests, our collaborations bring unique approaches to neuroscience. Undergraduate and graduate students are involved in all Laboratory research projects, and this is considered a key mission of the Laboratory. The Laboratory has mentored the research projects of 15 doctoral students, 25 master's students, 36 undergraduates and 5 high school students.

The Laboratory has received a total of $5,269,901 in research funding.
