New Ranking Puts Manning School of Business Program at No. 5 for Value

LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell Manning School of Business is ranked No. 5 in the nation for the value its online master’s of business administration program delivers to graduates, according to BestCollegeValues.com’s 50 Best Value Online Masters of Business Administration 2017.

“This is one more example of the tremendous return on investment UMass Lowell students and alumni receive whether they are attending classes on campus or interacting with our outstanding faculty through our truly exceptional Division of Online and Continuing Education,” said Chancellor Jacquie Moloney.

Recently, UMass Lowell has also been ranked No. 1 among New England public research universities and No. 43 among public institutions nationally for its 20-year return on investment by PayScale.com.

In April, PayScale.com also rated UMass Lowell No. 1 in the nation for its 20-year return on investment for art majors and art careers.

UMass Lowell’s online MBA is ranked No. 47 in the nation among both public and private institutions by U.S. News & World Report.

“Employers worldwide are looking for management professionals with the proven ability to identify new opportunities for innovation, improve performance and sustain growth. They see hiring MBA degree holders as a smart investment, and they’ll pay a premium for professionals who hold the credential,” according to the BestCollegeValues.com website, which states that hiring rates for business school graduates are the highest they’ve been in five years.

For business students who take classes on campus, the Manning School of Business just moved into the Pulichino Tong Business Center a new, state-of-the-art 54,800-square-foot building that offers students cutting-edge resources including a simulated stock-trading room, a 43-foot real-time stock ticker that is visible on all four floors and technology-enabled classrooms.
