From memory and cognitive function, to mood and a potential in people with PTSD, there’s lots of research going on for omega-3s and brain health, but what does the science currently say?

Scientists from UMass Lowell, the University of Pennsylvania and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism reported that omega-3 supplements may calm aggressive behavior in children. Asst. Prof. Jill Portnoy of the School of Criminology and Justice Studies is among the researchers on the project.
