Biosketch
Matilda is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. With a background in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology, she conducts her doctoral research in the Waghmare Lab, under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Indrayani Waghmare.
Her doctoral research aims to uncover how dysregulated cell-surface trafficking and morphogen signaling contribute to abnormal tissue development and to provide mechanistic insight into signaling alterations associated with tumorigenesis.
