Biosketch
Christina Alves leads cell line and cell culture development for protein biologics at Biogen. She has a passion for driving new technology initiatives and seeks out meaningful collaborations to drive industry wide efforts to advance existing platforms and biological understanding. She has served as the chair of the AMBIC consortium, a member of the AltHost consortium industrial board and on several other industry forums. Prior to joining Biogen, Christina did her graduate work in cancer metastasis at Johns Hopkins University and worked at in cell culture and fermentation development at Chiron.
