Description
An overview of the history of Italian culture and society by exploring the relationship between food and identity. Through the examination of readings, films, and visual art works, students will discover the controversial and problematic issues that characterize Italian identity through a regional, national, and transnational lens. This course will be taught in English. Knowledge of Italian is preferred but not required. Italian majors and minors will complete all written assignments, reviews, and exams in Italian.

Pre-Req: ENGL 1020 College Writing II.
