Career Exploration: Job Shadowing allows students to further explore their fields of interest in a hands-on, experiential way through required externship experiences or job shadowing. Additionally, students build networking skills and learn about professionalism and career readiness during weekly class meetings. With coaching from the course instructor, each student will: identify two people (working in a field of interest to them) that they would like to job-shadow; request, schedule, and attend the shadowing experiences; and provide overview of the externship experiences to the class.

UMLO.1500 Career Exploration & Planning, or Permission of Instructor.
