Description

This course is designed to provide graduate students in psychology with the necessary skills and knowledge for professional development in academic and applied settings. In this forum students will be required to present on their current research, and, depending on the semester and student needs, students will explore career pathways, ethical considerations, networking strategies, writing for academic and professional audiences, time management and productivity strategies, teaching and mentoring skills, leveraging technology and tools for research and teaching, and/or refine essential professional competencies (e.g., communication, web presence). The course will include student-led presentations, guest presentations, discussions, and practical exercises to enhance career readiness.
