Students are placed in high-quality internships to gain experience applying disciplinary, critical thinking, and communication skills in professional settings. Placement sites include local, regional, national, and global organizations, including non-profits, government agencies, schools, and businesses. Interns complete 120 hours of professional tasks determined by the needs of the organization and the interests, strengths, and abilities of the student. In-person, hybrid, remote, and flexible schedules are possible. Weekly class meetings support student professional development. We will build valuable skills and expertise, gain hands-on experience, grow networks, strengthen resumes, expand transferable skills, develop confidence, and find purpose through meaningful community engagement.
