Design methodologies for combinational and sequential logic circuits and systems. Introduction to simulation and synthesis tools using Hardware Description Language (HDL). CMOS circuit structure and electrical characteristics. Overview of FPGA structure. Hands on projects using FPGAs.
Prerequisites
EECE.3650 Electronics I, and EECE.3170 Microprocessors Systems Design I.
