Description
This course introduces basic Python programming and data analysis concepts and will give students the skills to run and modify Python notebooks for quantitative data analysis. At the end of the course, students should be able to run and modify existing Python notebooks that input data in common formats, do basic quantitative analysis, assess the associated statistical significance, and display the results. No prior knowledge of programming or statistics is required. This course focuses on the use of Python in data analysis and is not intended to provide a general introduction to object-oriented programming.
