Description

Senior Studio I is the first of the two capstone courses of the Graphic Design Bachelor of Fine Arts program in the Art Department. In this first course Graphic Design students are required to research, develop, and produce a concept and visual language for a mature, coherent, and substantial body of work representing 6 credits (in a two-course sequence). The work will be presented to the Graphic Design faculty for evauation as well as working towards the exhibition to the public in the BFA Senior Studio exhibition. Meets Core Curriculum Essential Learning Outcome for Applied &I Integrative Learning (AIL), Critical Thinking & Problem Solving (CPTS) and Information iteracy (IL).

Prerequisites

ARTS.3100 Design Studio II: Visual Communication, and ARTS.3120 Design Studio II: Research and Systems, and ARTS.3300 Typography II.
