ARCH.3500 Architectural Design II

Description
This upper level, studio-based course expands on the skills and techniques used in architectural design. Students will define their own concept for a building program a a given site and then earn to progress their ideas from concept through design development. Assignments will introduce students to both freehand drawing and current design software. The class will explore fundamental architectural concepts for human activities and needs through place making and tectonic composition.
Prerequisites
ARCH.2300L Intro to Interior Design, or ARCH.2500L Intro to Architecture Design, or ARTS.1020 Arts Concepts II, or Permission of instructor.
