AIDA.4430 Text Retrieval and Analysis

This course introduces text retrieval and analysis methods, including but not limited to, text data access, retrieval models, search engine and implementation, search engine evaluation, web search, recommended systems, text-data analysis, work association mining, text clustering, text categorization, text summarization, topic analysis, opinion mining and sentiment analysis, and joint analysis of text and structured data. Large Language Models will be used under the instructor's supervision and guidance.
Prerequisites
AIDA.3221 Deep Learning.
