Description

This course provides advanced study in a professional nutrition setting that will prepare students for career pathways in food service management. Students will gain an understanding of food production and service through lectures, case studies, and experiential learning activities. With an emphasis on group work, students will become familiar with the techniques that the Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NITRE) profession uses to manage human and financial resources required for the operation of a successful foodservice.
