This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the mechanisms of disease, focusing on the dynamic pathophysiological processes that disrupt normal function in major body systems. Emphasis is placed on the causes, progression, and manifestations of disease across the lifespan, establishing a foundation for understanding health alterations and clinical decision-making in the health professions.
Prerequisites
HSCI.1020 Anatomy & Physiology II, or BIOL.2520 Physiology, or Permission of Instructor.
