EECE.4220 Printed Circuit Board Design

Description
PCB design course is an asynchronous online hands-on project-based course that provides instructions on the entire design capture process, starting with the User Interface, Project Creation, Schematic Entry, then moving towards PCB Layout, Documentation, and finally Fabrication Output. The course software is Altium Designer, which is free to registered students. Topics include Introduction to PCB Design and Manufacturing Process, Introduction to Routing in a PCB, and Preparing for Manufacturing. Assignments and a course project utilizing the concepts learned are assigned.
Prerequisites
EECE.3650 Electronics I, and EECE.3110 Electronics I Lab, or Permission of Instructor.
