This course is designed for students entering the first semester of their second year of the BA.ED. program. It integrates coursework with supervised clinical field experience in a local school setting. Students will spend tow hours per week engaged in guided observation, participation, teaching and reflection in classrooms. The field experience is designed to connect theory to practice, allowing student to develop professional skills, deepen their understanding of learners and learning environments, and examine the roles and responsibilities of educators.
Prerequisites
Education Majors only.
Course prerequisites/corequisites are determined by the faculty and approved by the curriculum committees. Students are required to fulfill these requirements prior to enrollment. For courses offered through online or GPS delivery, students are responsible for confirming with the instructor or department that all enrollment requirements have been satisfied before registering.
