CIVE.5870 Introduction to Data Science for Engineers

Introduction to data analytics with applications in civil and environmental engineering. Review of probability theory, uncertainty quantification, Monte Carlo Methods, fundamentals of unsupervised and supervised learning. Some programing experience is desirable.
Prerequisites
CIVE.2860 Probability and Statistics for Engineers (or equivalent), and MATH.2310 Calculus III, or Permission of Instructor.
