Current Productions

Winner of the 1992 Tony Award for Best Play, Dancing at Lughnasa by dramatist Brian Friel is set in a small village in 1936 Ireland; where five unmarried sisters share a small home and dreams of life beyond their native land. A radio dramatically changes their lives and sets in motion unforeseen changes. It was made into a film in 1998 starring Meryl Streep and Michael Gambon.

  • Thursday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday April 22 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m.

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to show time. Performances will be held at the Comley-Lane Theatre, Mahoney Hall. Seating is limited.

Tickets

Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for students and can be reserved by emailing your name, number of tickets, and show time to UMLplaytix@uml.edu. Ticket reservations are currently being accepted and can be reserved up to 24 hours before the performance. Tickets are also available at the door.
