Where do I drop off and pick up my child?

Staff members will meet campers on the French Street curb (by Boarding House Park) 8:15 a.m. - 8:35 a.m. Our Junior Counselors will walk campers into the building. At 4:30 p.m., our staff will walk the campers to this same spot for pick-up. For drop-off/pick-up location, use GPS directions for "40 French Street, Lowell, Massachusetts 01852".

Are your staff members qualified? Have they had CORI checks?

Our staff members are highly trained Lowell National Historical Park Rangers and University of Massachusetts Lowell Museum Teachers. This is the same cohort that teaches our school-year programs and field trips. All staff have training in CPR and first aid, and have been checked through the Massachusetts or federal CORI system.

What does my camper need to bring?

Campers will need to bring a water bottle, a hat (for trips and the boat day), and sunscreen, if needed. They will be provided with snacks and lunch during the day, as well as a camp t-shirt. Prior to camp, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details.

Are the boats safe?

Every camper will take a boat ride. If a camper feels nervous upon boarding the boat, a staff member will be available to reassure and stay with the camper. Trained Lowell National Historical Park boat captains operate the boats. Our staff has also had thorough boat safety training.
