Tsongas Industrial History Center's 25th Anniversary

Thank you to all who participated in our 25th anniversary events this year!

In October 1991, Lowell National Historical Park and the UMass Lowell Graduate School of Education opened a unique education center to encourage and facilitate the study of Lowell's industrial history through hands-on activities and use of Park resources.

The Tsongas Industrial History Center is celebrating its 25th anniversary throughout the 2016-17 school year, starting with a "birthday" party and continuing with a series of activities for students, teachers, families and the general public throughout the year. Discover why over a million students and teachers have visited the Tsongas Industrial History Center to learn about history and culture, technology and engineering, and more!
