We are heartbroken by the weekend’s attacks, and are deeply saddened by the escalating aftermath.
Nothing could ever justify the incomprehensible violence that has been waged against children and innocent civilians. Our thoughts are with all of those impacted in the Middle East and within our campus community as we hope for a swift end to the violence.
UMass Lowell remains committed to providing support to all members of our community impacted by these events through our Counseling Center for students and through our Employee Assistance Program for faculty & staff.
The university is committed to ensuring a safe and inclusive campus environment for all, especially in the face of these moments of division and anger around the world.
