UMass Lowell honors and recognizes LatinX Heritage Month Events – Sept. 15 – Oct. 15. Events are coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Affairs with partners all across the UMass Lowell campus. Even check out some local Lowell Latinx Heritage Month events happening.

PA La Cultura: Monthly Socials
Mondays at 5:30 p.m., Social Justice Center (UCC 370)-Hosted by the Rising 360 Latinx Cohort.

Wednesday, Sept. 20 – Street Eats @ Hawk Nest – 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Join us at Hawk Nest in University Suites for “Street Eats.” UML Dining will be hosting the Monthly Street Eats and can be enjoyed with fun outdoor activities. You will have the opportunity to learn more about Hispanic Culture and how UML embraces diversity. The Latin American Student Association will also be hosting their meeting outside
Thursday, Sept. 21 - Mental Health in the Latinx Community - 4 p.m. at Social Justice Center (UCC 370)
The Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Counseling Center will have a robust conversation about mental health and what that looks like in the Latinx/a/o/e community. *Open to all UMass Lowell community Members*
Wednesday, Sept. 27 – Latin American Student Association (LASA) Open House - 5:30 – 7 p.m. Social Justice Center (UCC 370)
Learn more about UMass Lowell’s Latin American Student Association (LASA). LASA will have members of the organization, past and present, talk about their longstanding history and how to get involved.
Saturday, Sept. 30 – Lowell Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Festival 12-8 p.m. North Common (413 Fletcher St., Lowell)
Join Us for a day of food, live music, and traditional Latin American cultural performances. The Lowell Latinx & Hispanic Festival will be celebrated at the North Common Park in Lowell.
Tuesday, Oct. 3 – Art and Stories: Making your Canvas 4-5:30 p.m. (UCC 242)
Join OMA for an afternoon of crafts and storytelling. You will be able to meet others and “craft” your semester!

The university library services curate a libguide that highlights ebooks, videos and films from the library collection, as well as feature Films on Demand.
