Winter Intersession and Spring 2023 Blackboard course shells have been created empty for all classes. Faculty will need to copy content from a previous semester or start from scratch to begin developing.
Course development instructions:
- GPS - Instructions for online, graduate and combined grad/undergrad courses:
- Copy a past course (most online instructors will need to do this)
- Start from scratch with an empty shell
- On-campus - Instructions for spring 2023 undergraduate courses:
- Merge/combine sections or courses (pdf) (optional)
- Copy content or add a template (start from scratch).
What about?
- Non-traditional course shells (pdf) (competency, dissertation, independent study, internship, and thesis courses)
- Blackboard Access for TAs, LAs and Graders
Student access will remain the same as previous semesters, students will be provided access on:
- Winter Intersession: Dec. 27, 2022
- Spring 2023
- Undergraduate courses: Jan. 14
- Graduate and online courses: Jan. 17
Please make sure you have provided a syllabus for your students and have hidden any materials that you may have copied from previous semesters.
GPS faculty drop-in sessions are currently available. We will be adding faculty workshops and open forums to the Center for Excellence in Learning & Teaching workshops page but please feel free to reach out with any questions.
