One of the requirements for continuous enrollment at UML for all full-time students and part-time Health majors, as well as international students is to have certain health records on file in order to be compliant with Massachusetts and UML regulations. Failure to submit mandatory health records results in an immunization hold that prevents students from registering for classes. Enrollment for Fall 2021 courses begin on April 5, while Summer enrollment has already begun. Please remind your students to review and resolve any immunization hold as soon as possible to avoid not being able to register for classes.
Here is how a student can find out if they have an immunization hold and how to resolve it:
To find out if you have an immunization hold go to your UML Now Dashboard and click on ‘Notifications,’ this will tell you what hold you have and a brief information about it. You can also find out if you have an immunization hold via SiS. However, to find out what specific health record triggered the hold & how to resolve it, you will have to login to the Student Health Portal. If it is your first time accessing the portal, you need to create an account by clicking on ‘Register’ after which you will receive an email to create a password. When you login, click on the ‘Immunization’ tab to view what health records are on file and what is missing. Upload missing health records to be compliant. Due to COVID-19 and medical record security, we are unable to accept forms in-person, through email or fax. Please submit all documentation through the Student Health Portal.
