10 Tips for a Successful Move-In
Schedule enough time to get in and move in during the assigned times for your floor and building.
Remember directions to your Residence Hall.
Bring a willing Move-In Team.
Be sure to check the opening schedule of events and to attend your designated floor meetings.
Pack the essentials for now, you can always ship items at a later time.
Communicate with your roommate(s) ahead of time to find out what each of you will be bringing.
Be prepared for inclement weather.
Review the code of conduct while packing to prevent bringing prohibited items.
Listen to University Staff, we're here to help.
And finally, remember to have patience.
