Prospective Residents
All students are welcome to apply for on-campus housing regardless of where you live or whether you are a matriculated part-time or full-time student.
New freshmen and transfer students are guaranteed housing!
Housing in 3 Easy Steps!
Step 1: Carefully review the "Residence Hall Contract and Terms of Agreement" (pdf).
Step 2: Return a copy of the housing contract (pdf) and submit a $200 non-refundable housing deposit to:
Office of Residence Life
University of Massachusetts Lowell
100 Pawtucket Street
Lowell, MA 01854
Please make out your check or money order to UMass Lowell, and please DO NOT send cash. Credit cards can be used by filling out the appropriate form (pdf). Sending the contract and/or deposit to any other department, combining the housing deposit with the tuition deposit, or sending the contract without the deposit will significantly delay your housing process.
Step 3: Visit the Online Housing Gateway and select your preferences. Every student must select a meal plan preference or they will be defaulted to the 14 meal plan. You may have to wait up to one week of our department receiving your contract and deposit before being able to log in.
