The following streets may now be parked in without paying the city meter between 12:01 a.m. on Monday and 6 p.m. on Friday:
- No change: Father Morrisette Boulevard between the Tsongas Center and the Northern Canal Bridge at Pawtucket Street
- New: Cabot Street between Hall Street and Perkins Street*
- New: Suffolk Street between Hall Street and Perkins Street*
* Parking on Cabot Street and Suffolk Street between Hall Street and Father Morrisette Boulevard is not available for parking without paying the posted city meter rates.
Please note the following important details:
- Vehicles parked in any of these streets after 6 p.m. on Friday or on weekends must abide by the posted city meter rates or be subject to citation by the City of Lowell.
- To park in these locations, your faculty/staff decal must be prominently displayed on your front windshield, and expired decals must be removed.
- Student parking permits are not valid for this parking option.
- Parking is not permitted within 15 feet of an intersection, in marked 'no parking' spaces, or hatched spaces.
- Parking is not permitted in the National Park Service (NPS) spaces that are marked on the ground of Father Morrisette Boulevard.
- Parking is not permitted on these streets during a city declared snow parking ban. Parking bans are usually posted to x.com/LowellPD.
