This opportunity is for students who are enrolled in majors that do not typically have paid internship opportunities. Students who want to gain career experience and serve their community through work off-campus in non-profits, community organizations, and government agencies, and on-campus with faculty and departments are encouraged to apply!
Earn a $2,500 stipend for traditionally non-paid internship work experiences.
UMass Lowell recognizes that many work experiences relevant to students’ goals may not be able to offer a paycheck, as they often do not have the budgets to pay for this work. The Moloney Student Scholarship was established to help bridge this pay gap.
Applications will be accepted from April 1 through 15. Students will be notified by April 18 if they have received the $2,500 stipend to work.
