I am pleased to announce that Paul Bryce, a renowned allergic disease scientist, will join the Kennedy College of Sciences on May 1, 2024 as the Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies. Paul is also a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) by the Research Administrators Certification Council.

Paul received his Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Manchester, UK and has had a successful research and teaching career in academia, and an outstanding experience in industry. He was a tenured associate professor in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University. More recently, he held the position of lecturer in the Master of Science in Biotechnology program at Northeastern University. Paul has also made significant contributions to creating new drugs to fight several allergies. At Sanofi, he led the research teams behind the development of a blockbuster therapy for allergies and building their future pipeline in immunology and inflammation. In addition, he has led several organizational and collaborative programs between industry and academia that are bound to enrich the Kennedy College of Sciences’ industry partnerships.

I take this opportunity to thank the Search Committee for their efforts in identifying a scientist with the talent and experience that Paul possesses. I am confident that Paul’s knowledge and experience will enhance the Kennedy College of Sciences’ research enterprise. Please join me in welcoming him to campus.
